Delphine Untereiner, portrait in golden light by the sea

The thread that connects everything I do

Three universes. One voice.

The voice has always been the starting point. Before the degrees, before the business, before the coaching, I sang.

My voice needed to express itself, and I followed it. Looking back, I understand that I was already following something deeper: my inner voice. It pushed me outward. Towards the world. Towards other cultures. Towards other forms of expression. Towards a life that did not always fit the frames I was nevertheless trying to live in.

The path

The story of a voice that looked for different spaces to express itself.

The voice

It all began with the voice

Competitions, stages, classical singing and opera

Singing is the first space where I discovered the power of my voice. I took it far: competitions, stages, vocal work, all the way to classical singing and opera, with the wish to become an international singer.

The starting point is not music in the academic sense. It is the impulse of the voice.

Languages

Languages and an opening onto the world

CAPES · master’s degree in English, German and intercultural studies

The wish for an international life led me to languages. I prepared the CAPES (the French secondary-teaching examination), before realising that this teaching frame did not fully fit me. The path continued with a master’s degree around English, German and intercultural studies.

Languages widened my vision of the world and opened it to other cultures and other forms of expression.

Changing language is also a way of reaching another side of yourself.

The public voice

Making your voice heard in society

Political science · IPAG · European projects · local councillor

That opening led me towards political science: the competitive examinations and studies at the IPAG, then European and international projects, and political engagement.

My mandate as a local councillor, with the delegation for European affairs, was another space where my voice sought to carry subjects and open perspectives.

2018

When the frame becomes too narrow

A passage

At some point, certain frames no longer let you grow. In 2018, a period of exhaustion — a form of burn-out — forced me to question the trajectory I had built until then.

Not a drama: a passage, and a reorientation. From there, I began to rebuild differently.

2019

Stepping out of the frame and looking at life differently

Travels · Los Angeles · Saint-Martin

After 2018 came the travels, and Los Angeles. At Bob Proctor’s Paradigm Shift seminar, then through a personal path of coaching and training, I met another way of thinking about mindset, change, and what we believe is possible.

Then came a year in Saint-Martin, more solitary, which opened another exploration: the inner path.

Learning a language is also learning to express yourself, to take your place and to dare to be yourself in another environment. I did not only study that path. I lived it.

2020

From teaching to accompanying

DIV’in’English · DIVE with Delphine

The first great entrepreneurial transition came in 2020: leaving salaried work and becoming an entrepreneur. DIV’in’English was born and, through teaching, accompanying people became self-evident.

The stakes I met went beyond grammar: confidence, fear of speaking, automatisms, ways of learning, the relationship with oneself, autonomy. That is the ground which would progressively lead to DIVE with Delphine.

The artist

An artistic identity that evolves

The DelLlfyne EP · Delphine Lova

At the time of my EP DelLlfyne, my artistic identity was different. Today, the name Delphine Lova is simpler and carries the idea of love in its widest sense: love of what you do, of who you are, of connection and of life, with an inner, soulful dimension.

The channel

A YouTube channel as a living archive

Nearly twenty years of voice · the Passage podcast

My channel has existed for nearly twenty years. At first it simply served to share singing videos, at a time when YouTube did not have the place it has today. More recently, I have started to genuinely invest in this space.

After the transition of 2020, then other changes in 2023, the Passage podcast became one of the first spaces where my inner transformation and the question of transitions take up more room.

Conversations

Deep Connection

A conversation can open something in us

Encounters and people have played an essential role all along the way. Certain conversations and certain guides helped me see differently and move forward.

Deep Connection was born from that conviction: a conversation can open something in us. These are not cold interviews — I enter the conversation myself, I share my point of view and I create a meeting of voices.

The philosophy in a song

Des ailes à mes envies

I co-wrote the lyrics of this song from my own experience. Looking back, it has become the guiding thread of my philosophy: listen to what calls, step out of the frames, take flight, and give a place to what is trying to emerge. In French.

The singer, the language lover, the councillor, the entrepreneur, the trainer and the guide are not separate identities.

It is the same voice, looking for different spaces of expression.

The voice that sings. The voice that engages. The voice that teaches. The voice that accompanies. The voice that creates conversations.

The forms change. The voice remains.
